Account data

Email address and display name via Firebase Authentication.

Workout data

Workout logs, exercise sets, rep counts, weights, and workout plans you create.

Health data

Steps, heart rate, and active calories, only with your HealthKit permission.

Running data

GPS coordinates, pace, distance, and duration during tracked runs.

AI conversations

Messages you send to the AI coach, used only to generate your response.

Device data

App version, device model, and OS version for diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

FitData relies on the following trusted services:

Firebase (Google LLC)

Authentication, database, and analytics.

Apple HealthKit

Reading and writing health and fitness data with your consent.

AI provider

Processes your AI chat messages to generate responses. Messages are not stored beyond the session.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore, protected by Google's security infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated requests from your own account.

6. Health Data

Health data accessed via Apple HealthKit is used solely within FitData to display your activity and enrich analytics. It is never shared with third parties or used for advertising purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

FitData is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14. Users under 16 should use FitData only with consent from a parent or legal guardian where such consent is required by law. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes indicates your acceptance.
